From the first days after the operation to the permanent result: practical tips on washing, sleeping position and what to avoid.
The success of a hair transplant depends not only on the operation but also on the aftercare. The first 3 days are the most critical period for the grafts to take hold.
The first wash is usually done according to our clinic's instructions; gently, without rubbing, using lukewarm water and a special shampoo. Keeping the head elevated while sleeping reduces swelling.
Avoid intense exercise, sauna, sea/pool and direct sun during the first week. Scabs typically shed within 10-12 days; it's important not to touch the grafts during this time.
